Reiki Treatments With Our Therapists
At Zen Shiatsu Chicago, all of our therapists practice Shiatsu Massage Therapy. Additionally, many of our therapists also offer Reiki treatments. If you are looking for a Reiki treatment, any of the therapists below can provide full Reiki sessions or a blend of Shiatsu/Reiki as you prefer.

Services are $130 for one hour, or $110 each for three prepaid ($330 for a package of three).
Appointments are available seven days a week at a variety of times.
How are Reiki and Zen Shiatsu different?
Reiki and Zen Shiatsu are both hands-on treatments that were developed in Japan.
Reiki uses the Energy Body’s seven energy centers (commonly known as chakras) in which energy flows. The focus is to gather insights of the imbalances and remove blocks so that energy can flow freely and effectively. Reiki practitioners use either light touch or no touch to hold different parts of the body based on the information they intuitively gather.
Shiatsu uses philosophies and theories from Traditional Chinese and Japanese Medicine to provide physical touch, pressure, and stretching of the whole body. This kind of treatment integrates the whole physical structure through which energy flows, allowing for interconnection and spontaneous healing to unfold. Compared to Reiki, Shiatsu is much more hands-on and can provide a wide range of light to deep pressure based on the client’s preferences.
Both are highly beneficial to returning balance to the body, and your therapist can blend Reiki and Shiatsu approaches in a way that is calibrated your exact needs and preferences.
